AFF Course

Accelerated Freefall Training (AFF)

The Accelerated Freefall, or AFF, method is an intense program which allows you to complete the student training in the least amount of jumps. From your first jump, you will be skydiving with individual parachute equipment and will be responsible for its operation.

What to Expect

AFF is the most commonly employed path to becoming a licensed skydiver. The Skydive Monroe AFF program consists of seven levels.

  • Each level features targeted learning skills for you to master.
  • Each jump will allow you to practice basic freefall awareness.
  • After deploying your parachute at approximately 4,500 feet, you will be assisted with canopy control via ground to air communication.

GREAT Accelerated Free Fall course! Dennis was an excellent instructor. It was fun, interactive, and the perfect prep for feeling confident on my first jump and my second.
