We may be biased, but Georgia is one of the best places to skydive in the entire world. The Georgia climate happens to be quintessential skydiving weather: endless sunshine, short and mild winters, and long, beautiful summers. And the landscape in Georgia makes for incredible views!

We have coastlines, forests, alpine terrain, mountains, and even desert spaces. Georgia is incredibly biodiverse and offers unrivaled views from the sky. And, best of all, Monroe is smack dab in the middle of it all. You’d be hard-pressed to find a location better for catching a bird’s eye view.

Tips for Skydiving in Georgia:

But let’s get down to brass tacks. There are some of the top common questions people ask about taking the leaping in the state of Georgia:

  • How much does it cost to skydive in Georgia? Every dropzone sets its own prices when it comes to tandem, student, and experienced skydiver jumps. On average, you can expect to spend between $200 and $300 for your first tandem skydive. Of course, that price can fluctuate if you add on extras like a video of your jump or take advantage of a group deal
  • What is the minimum age to skydive in GA? The minimum age to skydive at any United States Parachute Association (USPA) group member dropzone is 18 years old, so, as a USPA dropzone, Skydive Monroe adheres to that regulation. It’s important to us that every person who goes skydiving at our dropzone has the physical and mental capacity to safely handle the challenges of skydiving for the first time.

Every skydive is unique, and each jump is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Choosing a location and dropzone that will live up to that lofty challenge is important. Finding a dropzone that has the vibes, the views, and the safety culture to make your jump exactly what it should be is what tandem skydiving is all about.
